Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is one of the most upsetting types of accidents we see. Police and insurance companies begin their investigation as soon as they are made aware of the incident. Both of these entities are working for their own purposes, and in terms of the insurance companies, their goal is to limit liability and reduce their loss.
