2nd Annual Warrior's Journey Golf Classic!

VISION: The vision of The Warrior’s Journey is that warriors and their families will live in wholeness and be equipped to navigate the issues of life.

The mission of The Warrior’s Journey is to help warriors and their families discover and grow in their journey with God.

The Warrior’s Journey in partnership with Tee It Up for the Troops will host their 2nd Annual golf event, silent auction and raffle on October 28, 2019 at Highland Springs Country Club. You are also welcome to join us at our Kick-Off Dinner the evening prior – October 27. We are in the process of collecting merchandise/gift cards for the event. I am writing to request your assistance to help us make this event a success.

The Warrior’s Journey and its mission is to honor, respect, remember, support, and provide resources to all those who have served in the Armed Forces for this great nation. The Warrior’s Journey and its partner, Tee It Up for the Troops devotes contributions to providing critically needed services to combat altered warriors and families of our nation’s armed services.

Your tax-deductible donation of an item will help Tee It Up for the Troops continue to provide a broad array of critical support services to our servicemen and women, veterans and their families. Additionally, you’ll benefit from exposure of your company’s name to those who attend the event.

Edwin Salau


Ed Salau joined the Marine Corps in 1988 right out of high school. Salau served as a radio repairer in Okinawa, Korea, Philippines, and North Carolina. From 1993 to 1995, he recruited future Marines in Minnesota. Salau ultimately attained the rank of Staff Sergeant, and he was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 2000. Following his discharge, Salau enlisted in the North Carolina Army National Guard.

Attorney Tim HaysIn 2016, Attorney Tim Hayes from Bishop and Hayes and Pastor Kevin Weaver from the Warrior’s Journey traveled to Mosul to help refugees fleeing ISIS. Tim had served during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Kevin had helped free Grenada. Their military experiences fighting for freedom motivated them to continue to find a way to serve. Bishop and Hayes is a proud supporter of the Warrior’s Journey in their mission to help our military families.
